A QUICK LITTLE INTRODUCTION
My name is Melissa, and those of you who don't know me from real life probably read my blog Amarillo. I am fifteen years old, and I live in Wisconsin.
Over the years, I have become fascinated with art and fashion. These two passions of mine collided when I first discovered the magic of Adobe Photoshop. Since that day so long ago, I have been making collages and moodboards that represent my current obsessions and ideas - both fashion-related and not.
I can communicate myself easily through these graphics, almost easier than I can with paragraphs of text. A picture is worth a thousand words. These collages illustrate my mind in ways that words wish they could. And in my opinion, that is why art is so powerful. So full of meaning. You can look at a piece and see the artist without knowing anything about them. The same goes with fashion, as I've said many times before.
Lastly, I'd like to leave you with this. I won't be posting many words on this blog besides these, for the reasons I have already said. I do not take any credit for the original photos used in my collages, and I have given credit where necessary. I ask that in return, you do not use my collages without permission from myself.
